Arriving on lands of snow felt magical once again. Los Angeles had been spoiling us too much with the all-year-long warmth and sunshine. Ferr-eeeezing, can’t nearly describe the low temperature of Lake Tahoe. Felt like I needed at least 10 more layers to actually feel warm. Whatever the temperature was though, we were thankful that it wasn’t snowing, and that we got to explore this winter wonderland. Lately I’ve been really into thin, fitted turtleneck sweaters, they look perfect under any type of coats, crew/v-neck sweaters, and more importantly, keeps me warm. As we were planning this trip, I had eight big coats that I wanted to bring, but nailed it down to the puffer coat from the last post and this furry, playful, and fluffy one – current favorite! And no other skirt could have made this snowy outfit more perfect, the grommet accents on the asymmetrical hemline is irreplaceable. We stayed in Tahoe for one night only, wish we had more time to seek breathtaking spots, but I guess we’ll hold onto that for Spring. 😉
