It was an honor to be able to witness a designer’s upcoming collection upfront and close during fashion week. Not only were we able to see these shows and document the details through our lenses, but had the opportunity to visit her showroom and enjoyed a 1-on-1 time with the designer herself, Vivienne Tam. Have always felt inspired by many talented Asian designers and discovering their unique keen eye that made a statement in the fashion industry. With Vivienne Tam, it’s her clean lines, East-meets-West graphics, and more importantly, use of colors and materials. There was one main detail that I’m dying to wear next season – the ruffles on the arms and hems. And if you look closely at the dress that Vivienne is wearing, it’s actually made up of mahjong, how incredibly amazing right?!

Anyways, thank you so much Lexus for this opportunity, as well as making my entire NYFW experience so much easier with all the luxurious rides around the city! Lastly, thanks to YOU GUYS for reading and stopping by! xoxo

  • I love Vivienne Tam’s designs, she is such an inspiration for female asian designers who is trying to make it main stream. Obsessed with your jacket when I first saw it and love how you wore it with the distressed jeans and boots. You are one of my favorite blog to visit and get inspirations from 🙂
