Hooray for Wednesday! I’m trying to get my closet ready for fall, but I just can’t stop adding more skirts to my wardrobe! Due to the excitement of entering fall and winter, I had to build outfits that work for the warm weather now, but would also work for when it gets cooler as the year ends. Leather and leatherette skirts are two key items that would work for both ends of the weather spectrum; they look amazing with anything from tank tops to tees, long sleeves, and sweaters. The pairing possibilities are endless! As for this outfit that I am wearing, a cropped sweater is still summery, but the quilt and a semi turtle neck bridges fall and winter together. The outfit perfectly exemplifies So Cal’s current scorching heat slowly easing into slightly cooler temperatures.
For shoes, I wanted to wear something heavier, something that’s bold and dressy all at once – certainly, these croc cut-out wedged boots from Jeffrey Campbell finished the entire look perfectly. By saying so, I successfully made some heads turn and had many people came up to me and asked me where they were from, what could be more exciting than that?
