Thank You 2013

2013 was a major year of growth. There were so many changes and difficulties, but I cannot be more thankful and blessed. Through a job offer, I moved to Los Angeles in beginning of January. Being able to have a job to do what I love is a feeling that I can never explain in words, all I can say is, being able to design and be creative is what keeps me motivated everyday. One very meaningful decision I have made this year was to start this blog. With a full time job as a creative, having to manage this blog, edit pictures, styling outfits and keeping up with new posts was very difficult at first, but difficulty didn’t stop me. I have never been so motivated, and enthusiasm just never stops as this blog continues to grow, mainly because of all your support. Having a true passion for fashion is not something I just say, but it’s the feeling whenever I pass by a boutique window display, or to whichever mall, or flipping through pages in the magazine, gives me the feeling of butterfly in my stomach. And more importantly, most of my designs and creative works are inspirations from little things to friends and family around me. With all said, I am also very thankful for my photographer/best friend/boyfriend, Jerry (yes, Jenny and Jerry, haha) who helped make this blog possible. A full time job + blogging = working 24/7, and I don’t think I’ll able to find another person who would stand by me and give me continuous support even though my eyes are on the monitor at least 12 hours a day and hardly ever on him. I just really want to say Thank You for all your support, thoughtful and sweet comments, it truly means the world to me. There were times where I felt tired and lost about whether I am doing the right thing, but in the end, being able to get featured, or had opportunities to work with different brands is a feeling of accomplishment and all the hard work is worth it. Until this moment, I am still learning the value of hard work by working hard. 2013 ended far beyond expected with a happily every after closing. Now eagerly welcoming 2014, with new goals, and with my longest stretched out arm ever! Happy New Year!! Xoxoxoxo 😀
