Happy Friday! Some of you may have already know from Instagram that I got to visit the flower field at Carlsbad last weekend, the scenery there is indescribably beautiful. The drive was about two and a half hours, but it was certainly worth it. Living in a traffic-heavy city and with the overwhelming workload every week, I needed a weekend to enjoy the nature surrounded by acres of flowers, and breathe the Spring air.
For a field trip like this, I like to wear flats so that I don’t have to worry about my feet being tired from walking. Last weekend was about 95 degrees there so it was the perfect weather for a thin crop top and high waisted shorts. Loved how the top has such a thin material with the sheer stripes, and paired it with striped shorts – stripes on stripes! This week is the last week before the flower field closes for the season, so it might be a good idea if you guys want to spend a day there for Mother’s Day!
