While everyone is already in the mid-week, hump day mode, today is my first day to get back to real work after having a long, 5-day weekend off. Jerry’s parents were in town for the very first time, so the tourist game was on. Everyday we had a set schedule of where we wanted to bring them and of course, where they wanted to go – touristy spots like Hollywood Blvd, Universal Studios, etc etc. Throughout the past few days, getting around in comfort outfits was my #1 priority, while staying chic of course (not just hoodies and jeans). I’ve never loved a black coat so much (from Earth & Beauty) where I literally wore it for 3 days in a row. The magic behind it was the relaxed fit, edgy side button closure, and the textured fabric that made it somewhat structured compared to any other ordinary duster coats. More importantly, it’s effortlessly chic paired with an infinite variety of dressy, to casual outfits.
