Put Your Pants To Work

Spring is officially here! And as always I’m on the hunt for pieces not only work for those days in between one season and the next (is it hot or cold??), but also between outfits.

Banana Republic’s Avery Pant is my dream blend of simple and versatile. Their slightly tapered, tailored silhouette creates a strong, minimal look that elevates everything else around it.

You can have a lot of fun with these pants simply by pairing them with a lot of the same pieces you’d wear with jeans. Try a trench with dressy sneakers for a clean, minimal vibe that easily goes from day to night.

Or pair them with a twill jacket for a more laid back (but still work appropriate) look. Finish it off with pointed, white heels for a final touch and to slightly elongate the legs.

The Avery is the perfect example of how conventional “work pants” don’t have to be so tied up all the time. Which can help work feel less tied up too, and more fun!
