“I’d call my clothes classic—I’m really a classicist at heart—with a bit of madness!” This is what Phillip Lim told Vogue in 2010. Ever since Phillip Lim was established in 2004, it led a new universe in fashion, and as we know today, 3.1 Phillip Lim has brought numerous inspirations into the wardrobes of many people across the world. Designer collections are full of innovative trends, cuttings, and the way each piece of fabric lays on top of one another is very distinctive. When the collaboration between Lim and Target was announced, all of our eyes hunted for a glance at the lookbook. The looks were captured from day to night, representing various capabilities and the overall versatility of the pieces.
Aside from the boom sweater and small satchel shown on my previous post, “3.1 Phillip Lim for Target – Part 1,” this floral blouse was another must-have piece from the collection. To enhance the florals and organic elements, I paired the blouse with a fall-friendly forest green zipped split skirt from All Saints. This mini skirt made the outfit fun and the side zip brought an edge to the entire outfit. I allso carried my recent favorite moto jacket from Elizabeth and James to throw on as the weather cooled down later in the day.
