Mid-June means – done with finals, planning trips, packing for vacations, barbecues, pool time, tanning at the beach, and SALE season! There were a few private sales last week at Bloomingdales, Saks Fifth Avenue, Nordstrom, etc etc…and one of the things I scored was this striped knit jumper by Karen Millen. As soon as I saw the shoulder line while it was still on the hanger on the rack cluttered with other pieces around it, I knew I had to pick it up. And as I pulled it out and realized the single neon stripe, it seemed like a sparkle, and then, as I turned the hanger discovering the mesh back panel, I knew it was a keeper. Have to admit that during some lazy days, this piece will make a subtle statement just by itself. As much as I love designer pieces (credit cards are so evil), discovering these marked down pieces is a different kind of excitement! Stayed a bit laid back so I paired it with these exquisite ripped denim shorts and a pair of black booties. For those of you who may or may not know already, One Teaspoon shorts are the IT shorts for summer, just saying.♥
