Check-In: Bali

It’s about time, to take you guys through our month-long travel diary. First stop, Bali.

Took awhile to sort through zillion photos from the trip AND videos, yes yes, videos will be coming up shortly! We spent our first week of the journey in Bali, Indonesia, with Lifestyle Retreats staying at one of their gems, The Balé, in Nusa Dua. Traveling to Bali from Los Angeles took quite some time, around 24 hours, so staying at a place where you can feel completely relaxed is very important. Our pavilion was ginormous, had our own private pool, garden, daybed and sleek modern interior designs. We spent half the time out and exploring, and other half in the retreat enjoying all the amenities and services they offered including Balinese massage, in-room floating high tea and I learned how to cook a favorite Indonesian dish, Nasi Goreng (Indonesian Fried Rice) from their head chef! They offer breakfast every morning, whether you’d like to enjoy and order at their Bliss Restaurant (which by the way, we had almost every meal there because it was that good, and they had a huge selection of nourishing dishes) or have it in-room, like me right by the pool – did both alternately because I couldn’t choose which way I truly liked better! 😛 Anyways, if any of you guys are planning to travel to Bali, I highly recommend the various retreat options by Lifestyle Retreats, make sure to check them out!
