The legendary Marilyn Monroe once said, “Give a girl the right shoes, and she can conquer the world.” This has always been one of my fashion mottos. There is always that one of pair of footwear in your wardrobe that makes you feel empowered and confident. The shoe that makes me feel that I can ‘conquer the world’ would be a classic pair of mules. I LOVE MULES! They’re comfy, exquisite, and effortless wear. It’s perfect for all occasion, anytime & anywhere.
My current favorite is Roger Vivier’s Bab’ Viv’ Strass Buckle Mule. What I love about the shoe is that the bumblebee yellow color compliments beautifully with the signature crystal pilgrim buckle. And you guys, yellow is very easy to pair with! Matter of fact, it is the new “millennial pink”. Yellow is like a piece of sunshine that can be added to our everyday outfits.
As mentioned before, mules are extremely versatile and could pretty be worn in any season. Mules could be styled with a simple pair of skinny jeans and a boxier blazer, midi dresses, jumpsuits, streetwear, and the list goes on. Personally, I like styling my flats with a simple white top and high wasted trousers, it’s simple, casual, and helps to elevate the look.
